or against placing all tax collecting duties in the hands of the county tax assessor But reaching the simple yes or no vote wont be easy for voters mainly because of proposed unclear old information and often bitter allegations between the main people Main players in the consolidation game Com al Comal and New Braunfels independent school districts and the City of New Braunfels have different opinions and different Comal County Tax AssessorCollector Gloria ultimately responsible for the assessing and collecting says consolidation is a good but will not vote for it locally because it appears she cant collect taxes for taxing units that have a different tax year than the county NBISD and the Would Comal County taxpayers save big money by collecting the taxes on NBISD and the City
