• Through June 6, 2001 — One lane each way of Farm-to-Market Road 725 will be closed for one-quarter mile north and south of Interstate 35 and traffic will be shifted to the south side of the road while workers construct an overpass for FM 725.
• Monday — Interstate 35, northbound over the Guadalupe River, the inside or fast lane will be closed from .5 miles south of FM 725 to .5 miles south of Texas 46 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Effective Thursday, left turns from FM 725 to northbound Interstate 35 and from FM 725 to southbound Interstate 35 will be prohibited. Those wishing to go north on IH-35 from FM 725 should use Business 35 to Texas 46. Those wishing to go south on IH-35 from FM 725 should use Business 35 to Walnut Avenue or Spur/Schmidt Street.

^ Fair queen search
The Comal County Fair Association is looking for girls who will be juniors in a Comal County school this coming school year (2000 to 2001) to participate in the fair queen’s contest. ► Drill team tryouts
The New Braunfels High School Marine Corps. JROTC Silent Drill Team tryouts for male and female cadets for the 2000-2001 Silent Drill Team will be 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. The drill will consist of regulation rifle movements in accordance with the Marine Corps Rifle Drill Manual. For information, call 629-0765.
Comal County Health Department immunization clinics are conducted, by appointment only, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week. Some Mondays and Fridays also have been made available for appointments. Satellite clinics are available for appointments at the Bulverde Volunteer Fire Department, Bulverde EMS Building and the Canyon Lake Action Center in Sattler. Call 608-2015 soon to schedule an appointment for any of the locations.
Minor children (under 18 years) must be accompanied by an adult. Written consent by parent or guardian must be given for each visit. All persons receiving immunizations must have eaten a meal shortly before arriving at the clinic.

■ All students attending New Braunfels High School in the fall can pick up registration packets at the school, 2551 N. Loop 337. Freshmen registration is 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Monday. Sophomore registration is 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. Late registration is 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 14 and 15.
■ All students attending New Braunfels Middle School in the fall were to pick up registration packets at the school at 659 S. Guenther on Friday. Registration will begin for middle school students this week.
Seventh grade registration is 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday. Eighth grade registration is
8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday.
■ All students attending OakRun Sixth Grade Center in the fall can pick up registration packets at the school, 415 Timber Hollow, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Wednesday. Registration will be only one day from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
■ New students to the New Braunfels Independent School District in grades Pre-K through fifth grade will register from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday at all elementary campuses.
■ Students at Smithson Valley High School will register this week with seniors on Monday, juniors on Tuesday, sophomores on Wednesday and freshmen on Thursday. Registration will take place from
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Friday will be a catch-all registration day. “Fish Camp” will take place from noon to 4 p.m. on Thursday.
