The Hill Country Chorus, New
Braunfels’ own chapter of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America, meets at 7 p.m. every Tuesday at the First Baptist Church’s Rice Hall on Cross Street. The Comal County Women’s Center offers an ongoing support group called “Letting Go” from 6 to 7 p.m. on Mondays. This program is designed for women whose lives are being affected by violence or abuse of a physical, emotional or sexual nature, whether ongoing or in the past. The goal is to come together to share experiences, gain self-understanding, learn to cope with daily living and to learn problemsolving and stress management skills. A children’s group meets at the same time. We ask that you call prior to
your first meeting if you will be bringing your children.
