Court-At Law Brian Gabriel Lopez, convicted of driving while license suspended, was sentenced to 37 days in jail. Lopez was assessed $203.25 in court costs. Michael Luna, convicted of driving while intoxicated, was fined $800 and sentenced to 90 days in jail (probated 12 months). Luna was assessed $254.25 in court costs. Duane Earl McGlothlin, convicted of assault causing bodily injury, was fined $700 and sentenced to 180 days in jail (probated 18 months). Mcglothlin was assessed $228.25 in court costs, Felipe Menchaca, convicted of theft over $20, was fined $300 and sentenced to 15 days in jail. Menchaca was assessed $223.25 in court costs. Restaurants receive a score of zero to 30 depending on the number of health violation demerits the establishment receives. A score of zero means no health violations were reported, while a score of 30 means the restaurant received demerits for health violations totaling 30 points. Restaurants are scored according to three criteria: food temperature and time requirements, five points each; personnel/handling/source requirements, four points each, and facility and equipment requirements, three points each.
