Came Suzanne Pollok of San Antonio is engaged to marry John Joseph Ploch of Kenedy, Texas. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William F. Pollok of San Antonio. She graduated from Canyon High School and from Incarnate Wold College with a B.A. in interdisciplinary studies/ear-ly childhood. She is employed with the San Antonio Independent School District as an elementary teacher.
The future bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ploch of Floresville. A Floresville High School graduate, he has a B.S. in entomology and a M.Agr. in plant protection from Texas A&M. He is a ranch manager with the Veladi Ranch in Kames City/Kenedy, Texas.
The wedding is planned for July 13, 1996, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Selma.

Melanie Roach is engaged to many Chad Schneider, both of San Marcos. The bride-to-be is foe daughter of Gerald and Carolyn Roach of Houston and the granddaughter of Gladys Roach of Palestine and Grace Bar-rineau of Houston. She graduated from Spring Woods High School in Houston in 1991, and will graduate from Southwest Texas State University in May 1996 with a bachelor of sciehce in interdisciplinary studies. She is a member of Alpha Xi Delta, Order of Omega, and Kappa Delta Pi.
The Alture bridegroom is the son of
Hylmar and Pam Schneider of New Braunfels and the grandson of Thelma Schneider of New Braunfels. A 1988 graduate of New Braunfels High School, he will graduate from SWTSU in Dec. 1996 with a bachelor of aits in psychology. Chad has also begun his MA in pastoral studies from the international school of theology out of San Bemadino, Calif. He is involved in the Alpha Omega Project in San Marcos.

Heather Ahuula McMullen of Garden Ridge is engaged to marry Joe Thomas. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Melvin and Jacquelyn McMullen of Garden Ridge. She attended Texas Tech University and now attends the University of Texas at San Antonio, from where she will graduate in May 1997 wifo an accounting degree. She is a member of the Texas Tech Horse Twlging Team, and is employed with Chscfca-flHbe-MaU.
The future bridegroom is the son of Cordus Thomas of Graham, Texas, and of Lane Thomas of Lubbock. He graduated from Texas Tech in May 1995 with a B.S. in animal business. He was active in the Texas Tech Horse Judging Team and Collegiate FFA. He is employed with United Electric Motor Co. Inc.

Anne Marie Foumet is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Foumet of Kinder, La. The bride wore a designer white silk ankle-length dress wifo satin piping trim and matching shoes. She carried pink roses.
Later that evening guests were served dinner. Also served were wedding cakes designed wifo rosebuds and porcelain white love buds on foe cakes. Dr. Melissa R. Ludwig of Houston served the wedding cakes.
Darren Marsch and wife Anne Marie will live in their new home in Lake Charles, La., where they are both employed in Louisiana.

Mr. and Mrs. Randal Winn of New Braunfels announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Marie, to Russell Conway Burkey, foe son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Burkey of Boerne.
The bride-elect and her fiance are 1994 graduates of Smithson Valley
High School and are presently attending Texas A&M University where Lindsay is studying kinesiology and Russell is studying mechanical engineering.
The couple will wed on Aug. 17, 19%, at the First United Methodist Church of Boerne.
Mr. and Mrs. Damn Marsch
In late March 19% Darren Marsch and Anne Marie Foumet were married in a double ring wedding ceremony, which was held in the chapel of a historic Southern Belle Plantation Home, Tezcuco, in Burnside, La. The chapel was flanked with white lilies of foe valley, pink calla lilies and hot pink peonies decorated throughout the aisles, foyer and throughout the chapel.
Darryl R. Marsch, brother of the groom, served as Best Man. Laura Marsch was Matron of Honor, wearing a cornflower blue chiffon satin dress. Darryl and Laura live in Alexandria, Va.
Darren L. Marsch is the son of Viona L. Marsch of New Braunfels and of M. L. Marsch of San Antonio.
