The March meeting of the New Braunfels Lioness Club was veiy colorful as each member wore green.
A guest of Mildred English was Audrey Player, and Alice Simpson’s guest was Pat Malmsten. Guest of the club was Dennis Heitcamp from the Noon Lions who gave comments on the installation of Leo Clubs at the zone meeting, and the support given by the Lioness Club. Mary Lou Schweizer, proposed by Jean Hammaker, was installed as a new member.
The Golden Egg Award of the month was given to Ina Funicella, by the club sponsors who cited her participation in many activities.
Lyla Hochanadel reminded members that the rummage and bake sale will be Saturday, May I
in the old Sears Building on Lan-' da Street.
Before the meeting adjourned, club members were pleasantly entertained with several musical selections by the Canyon High School Balladeers.

from the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
The regular monthly meeting ut the Catholic Daughters of the Americas was held at the St. Peter and Paul Activity Center on March 16. Hostesses were Betty Kaufman and Carolyn Pittman.
The meeting was conducted by Regent Delores Burch. Guests presented were Loretta McDonald and Nancy Ford. Vemell Martinez is a new member.
Thank-you notes were read from "the Children’s Shelter for our donation. Also from member Gladys Rutten who is recovering very nicely from recent surgery. And fromthe family of Florence Haney one of our members who recently passed away.
It was voted to donate $100 to the Women’s Shelter and $100 to the Bereavement Committee of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish.
The nominating committee for new officers was chosen. Chairman will be Vera Riggs, with Carol Freimuth, tai Cadded, Barbara Houde, Joanne Tschoepe, and Virginia Ortiz.
Mother and Daughter Break fast will be held at Molly Joe’s on May 2 after the 8 a m. Mass. Members are asked to bring a

fast will be May 23.
Joanne Tschoepe and Vemell Martinez are working on a fall business trip. Our Spring Break Sale will be April 25 after all the Masses.
