Main Street Director Lynn Fountain and Youth ArtBeat Chairman Jean Wilson dunked the event sponsors Texas Commerce Bank, Schhnerinfan and Target for their support of the second annual area youth am event. Bluebonnet Motors, which underwrote the cost of the awards ribbons, was also thanked.

Attendance prizes were also awarded. Shenale Purvis won a $20 certificate for Sip-n-Sup, and Curtis Herring, Glen Wallace and Rebecca Stafford each won a certificate that entitles them to two hours of the free painting talents of Jean Wilson. Bryan Evans won an original, framed watercolor donated by artist Sheila Orr.
Wilson expressed her thanks for the New Braunfels High School Marine Corps JROTC cadets for assisting with
traffic safety around the main plaza throughout the day. She also recognized the New Braunfeb Department for providing officers who stopped traffic around the main plaza so the parade could safely cross onto foe plaza for the awards ceremony.
The Youth ArtBeat chairman also recognized the members of the Youth ArtBeat committee for their hard work and time.
The committee invites those who would like to help plan next year's festival to call Lynn Fountain, Main Street Office, at 608-2100.
