He was a Little league baseball coach and a former High school foot Ball basketball and baseball player. He was an Active Volunteer at the Lafayette senior Center in Lafayette. He was also a life member of Moose Lodge 1548 in Longmont. Or. Johnson was a former member of immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lafayette and was a current member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Longmont. He graduated from mount Olive High school in mount Olive 111. Besides his wife survivors include two sons and daughters in Law Ken and Colleen Johnson of Boulder Colo., and Robert and Sandy Johnson of Berthoud Colo.
