A year j ago last April his son, Barney, kiired tils I wife and self at Cedar Lake, since which time Mr. Ellwanger has often been despondent. Another cause given is his failure to secure the contract for the new Methodist Episcopal church of this city, which was let to another man last night. He leaves a wife and two sons, one of whom is superintendent of the Chicago jTelephone Company of Chicago. ;;
