Funeral Will He Held Tuesday Afternoon
Luke Nau Dies At Local Hospital
Luke Nau, about 80 years old. died at the Memorial hospital at 12:15 Saturday night. Mr Nau was never married Several nieces and nephews survive.
The Funeral will be held at the Cookes Funeral heme Tuesday afternoon at three o’clock.
Wives of Soldiers Invited
To Red Cross Sewing
Wives cf the students in the air detachment at Iowa Wesleyan and wives of other service men will meet with Mrs. L. L WeLs on Wednesday evening June 2, at eight o’clock. The meeting is sponsored by the WSCS anc0. Red Cress sewing will be done.
Miss Brodthage Dies at Rudat Home
Miss Elsie Brodthage, 54, died at the home of her sister Mrs Ed Rudat. south of Mt. Pleasant Saturday afternoon about four o’clock. Miss Brodthage had served as a nurse at the Oakdale sanatorium for 18 years.
Recently she had been hospitalized at Iowa City, then at the Memorial hospital here and onlv recently had been token to the home of her sister.
The funeral will be held at the Cookps Funeral home this afternoon at 2:30.
