Sixteen persons were admitted to Chicago Bank files suit against 12 Des Moines up a a Chicago Bank has filed suit in Federal District court in Des Moines against 12 defendants including the president and cashier of the defunct state Bank of Prairie City. The suit filed Friday by the National Boulevard Bank of Chicago seeks a $98,400 judgment against the defendants and charges nine of the defendants with a conspiracy that led to the closing of the Prairie City Bank last monday. The petition said the Chicago Bank loaned Money to the president of the Bank Harry f. Soults and the Bank a cashier Richard Graves knowing the Loans could not be repaid unless the Bank remained solvent. The petition said that Soults and Graves pledged shares in the Bank As Security for the Loans from the Chicago Bank.
