Minn RICE Sept explicable tragedy snuffed out sev jfen lives a grade crossing near Rice Wednesday night when Northern Pa rific passenger train No 11 crashed Jnto the automobile of John Morgal The entire Morgal family consist Ing of the father the mother and their five children ranging In age from 5 months to 5 years were anni hilated In the crash which occurred three miles north ot Rice Tho dead are John Morgal 29 his livifo 24 Alois 5 Veronica 4 Sophia S Gertrude 2 and girl of 5 tnontha AH apparently died instant ly when their small touring car was Emashcd to pieces and the wreck age strewn along the right of way for more than 300 feet Crossing Is Open The crossing where the fatal crash Occurred is an open one With the track visible for a long distance in Bach direction and no
