SPONG GlobeGazette Editorial Research Bureau WASHINGTON Tammany Hall originally a fraternal brotherhood dates from before the American Revolution It early became entangled in New York politics Now it is con trolled by the New York County Democratic Committee Tammany was somethirfg less than a power under Presidents Roosevelt and Truman who starved it of patronage The only true Tammany man to be
