federal court at Port Dodge Mrs Dirst ia asking for the payment of a policy held by her husband Harold Dirst who died from injuries received in an automo bile accident last January The North Carolina legislative records More bills were introduced by the members of this assembly than during any pre vious session in the last etght years A total of 11S2 measures were proposed The previous high mark was set in the code revision session ot 19231924 with a total of 1606 In recent years the number of bills introduced has not exceeded a thou sand Even more unique than the large number of legislative proposals was the remarkably small number of bills that were enacted into law The general ratio of bills passed has usually been about onethird of those introduced This year the pro portion dropped to
