BUENOS AIRES UP Argen tine destroyers attacked an uni dentified submarine off the south ern coast Wednesday President Arturo Frondizi said Friday He told a news conference the destroyers dropped four depth charges and saw oil come to the surface An intense search was called off Thursday when the de stroyers failed to find any further tract of the submarine The US Navy Department in Washington said no American submarines are missing in South American waters or elsewhere The British Admiralty in Lon don said none of its submarines had been operating in the area at the time of the reported attack
