Sentenced for Larceny at Armory Lucille Winters 22 24 Fifteenth street southeast and Eva Kopps 18 IS Twentyfourth street southwest entered pleas of guilty Wednesday to a charge of larceny of a pocket book Saturday night and were sen tenced to serve 30 days in the coun ty jail or to pay a fine of and costs by Judge Lowell L Forbes in police court The girls who were arrested Tuesday night by Officer Neary on the complaint of Mrs J H Miller are second offenders on the same charge Last December they were arrested for the theft of dresses from the J C Penney store but later released The pocketbook which was stolen from Mrs Miller at the armory Saturday night con tained articles valued at Eddie Clark appeared In police court also to answer to a charge of loafing He was sentenced by Judee Forbes to serve five days in the city jail Joe Seger K Claypool C W Pltcock and Clarence Malin forfeit ed bonds of 55 and when they failed to appear tn answer speeding charges H Jr Laughlin was fined 5 and costs on the same charge Episcopal Church Will Have Three Hour Service Good Friday From 12 to 3 The Three Hour Service which has long been an institution in the Episcopal church commorating the agony of Christ upon the Cross of Calvary will again be observed on Good Friday from noon until 3pm The rector will as in former years use the seven words of Christ ut tered from the Cross as his theme Much will be added to the service this year by the use of Dubois Seven Last Words parts of which will be sung as solo numbers by Mrs C G Maudsley and Mrs Raymond B Weston The public js expected to come and
