was hit just a year ago with a million em bezzlement which Closed for liquidation the high ly respected Sheldon National towns oldest banking institution Landed two of the towns most prominent citizens in federal pris ons Brought bankruptcy to the Northern Biochemical Corp the biggest industry in town It was just a year ago that townspeople awoke to find the bank closed and heard the news that Mrs Burnice ant cashier of the bank a mem ber of Us board of directors daughter of W P Iverson bank president and widely known as thetowns ad mitted the monumental embezzle ment The exact amount according to scrupulous records kept by Mrs Geiger herself was taken over the 35 years she had worked in the bank It was disclosed that of the banks money apparently went into the coffers of Northern than an hour later when he returned home with the loot Authorities said the man who brandished an automatic pistol at three persons in the bank was spotted by a highway patrol plane as he sped along
