instantly in a twocar crash were Mr and Mrs Frank Grandjenett Algona and Gary Lee Bauer 19 rural Floyd Bauer the son of Mrs Louis Bauer was the driver of one of the cars and Grandjenett 63 driver of the otherThe two cars hit heaaon on a curve a half mile east of the Nora Springs city limits Agues Grandjenett 69 was in the front seat with her husband Two passengers in the Grand enett car John and Leo Lud vig both of Corwith were in ured in the accident They are isted in serious condition in a Mason City hospital John 72 suffered a dislocatedhip and numerous facial lacerations His brother Leo 62 has numerous facial lacerations and other un determined injuries Heavy fog and frost spots on the highway made driving con ditions hazardous according to highway patrolman Dale Hoover Mason City who in vestigated the accident with Lt Cletus Stangl of the highway patrol and Floyd County Sheriff L L Lane Young Bauer who was driv ing a 1961 car was headed west at the time of the accident Ha was on his way to attend classes at Mason City Junior College Grandjenett a retired farmer and storekeeper from the St Benedict area and his wife and passengers were on their way to attend a funeral in
