Ottunmu Music club and isf former representative on the board of directors the National Fed eration oC Music clubs Because of extensive research work along with her musical studies Mrs Hofmann has made the acquaintance of tho most prominent contemporary musi cians in the United States She is a former pupil of Carl Schluer former ly professor of music at Drake uni versity and also studied with Paul Sloye of Drake Besides her interest in music as a student tho history ofmusic a coniposer accompanist and soloist Mrs Hofmann lias a keen apprecia tion of books and In her husbands drug store Mrs Hofmann has a good book business She is most generous with her own books saying that she keps her books for her friends anjj wants them to enjoy them too Her living room is well iincil uno the boolf
