Story of Last Year By KEN BERG GlobeGaietU News Editor The continuing crisis in the Middle East brought home per sonally to many Americans by the landing of U S Marines in revolttorn Lebanon was the biggest news event of 1958 Given their choice selecting the most noteworthy happening in a year chockfull prime developments members of the Globe Gazettes editorial department found the going difficult It was a busy 12 months Missiles were flying into outer space voters trooped to the polls for important elections new politica leaders were rising to the fore and scientific advances were
