Nor man Erbe said Wednesday his wife Jackie gave a prowler a tongue lashing and chased him away from the Executive Mansion this week Erbe said the incident ocpurred early Sunday while I was asleep The governor said the porch and vestibule lights had been left on and the front door of the mansion was unlocked as the Erbes await ed relatives coming in from Min neapolis Mrs Erbe had been calling the railroad station about every hour to check on the arrival time of the train carrying the relatives About am Erbe said his wife heard a noise went down stairs in her pajamas and found someone standing in the vestibule Mrs Erbe said the man was about 23 to 25 years old and was wearing an Army fatigue jacket and cap He said his name was Bob Johnson and that he was the governors military aide Jackie ordered him out the governor said She chewed him out as only a woman can Erbe said his wife told him she thought the man had been drink ing She said the man got into a car apparently circled the block and slopped in front of the man sion for a short while before driv ing off again Erbe said the man apparently never got past the vestibule Noth ing was missing Now we keep all the doors locked Erbe
