Federal Court wiretap conspiracy trial of James R Hoffa presidentelect of the Teamsters Union and two others ended Friday in a hung jury The panel of seven men and five women reported it was hopelessly deadlocked 11 to for conviction On trial with Hoffa were Owen B Brennan president of Detroit Teamsters Local 337 and Ber nard Spindel a professional wire tapper They were charged with con spiring here to tap illegally telephones in the Detroit Team sters Building to find out what information union subordinates were giving to official racket in vestigators New Trial Sought The jurors
