Canal Plans Are Argued LONDON doubtful na tions swung their support Tues day to the U S plan for solvin the Suez Canal crisis but Russi rushed to the support of India rival proposal Pakistan Turkey Iran an Ethiopia announced they wer lining up behind Secretary o State Dulles plan for interpa tional control of the canal afte he accepted their amendment French sources said Soviet For eign Minister Shepilov then mad his move endorsing Indias pla for continued Egyptian control o the waterway The maneuver hai been expected As the conference neared it end most sources agreed on five countries when the Rocky Mountain Limited No 8 jumped its track in the town of Durant and crashed into an oncoming Rock Island mail train Station Agent Gus Jost said there was apparently only one in jury a
