Saturday became the first auto fatality in Floyd County in an accident a halfmile north car struck of Floyd j across US Dickhoff was riding in a car driven by Larry Montgomery 18 son of Mr and Mrs John Edwin Montgomery Floyd The a cow Highway careened 218 j Teaching the art i3 j of geisha By PATRICIA RYAN New York Herald Tribune1 News Service NEW YORK A lady lawyer has a movement under way that could drastically change Amer icas cultural pattern and en dear its womenfolk to men throughout the world The lovely barrister plans to start a school patterned on the Japanese geisha method that would teach American women to be serene relaxed and to de velop a concept of the art of serving man The school which Bernice Turkewitz has about six months away from reality is being backed principally by a young investment broker in Washing ton D C who considers the re vamping of American women jhood a public service The young man understandably wants to remain nameless until he discovers whether or not the feminine legions of this nation consider the school an oppor tunity or an affront smashed into a parked truck just after midnight Dickoff died instantly of a broken neck Montgomery was hospitalized at the Cedar Valley and Hospital Charles City He is reported in satisfactory condi tion with chest injuries ations and concussion lacer North Iowa Occasional show ers and there when it became dis abled belongs to the Jay W Craig Co Minneapolis and Sheffield According to sheriffs officers who investigated the accident it was parked well off the highway The cow which was thrown feet from the point of impact belonged to Howard Lovik rural Floyd The two boys were graduated from Charles City High School this spring They were both em ployed at the HeckmanRey nolds Co here They were re turning from the Mitchell County Fair at Osage when the accident occurred FUNERAL services for Danny Dickhoff will be Monday at 9 am at the Immaculate Conception Church here with burial in the Calvary Cemetery GrossmannHage Funeral Home is in charge Surviving are his mother Mrs Donald Dickhoff three brothers David Charles and William and two sisters Mrs James Bluhm and Mrs Donald t h e American women what they do not have serenity There willbe no diplomas giv en for completion of the courses Part of our concept is that the only real diploma is a womans own knowledge she said
