baby sitter described as having a compulsion for holdj suffocation The latest death oc curred Thursday night Dubuque County ing children was being held here Friday in connection with the deaths of three Dubuque youngsters two of them mem bers of the same family Police said Mary Madigan Dubuque was sitting on differ ent occasions with three chil dren when all died apparently of Grave yard in died the following night and Gail Sue Nemmers 3 sister of Karen Sue died Thursday night Police said Miss Madigan told them in each case she was hold ing the children in order to quiet them and said I guess I held them too tight Thinnes said the 5 feet SVz inch 192pound Miss Madigan had a great compulsion for holding children She apparently loves children and has no intent to hurt them Dubuque doctors care Police said Karen Sue Nem mers had had a heart condition and Mrs Nemmers had as sumed it had caused the death The second child Michael Fitz patrick had had pneumonia Thinnes said airliner
