the United States First Party Members The area of highest thought control which is the core of communist strength is the Party mem bership These individuals after indoctrination become fullfledged The Party member must be completely obedient that is the haU mark of Party lifeV Very clearlyhe is a of the Party POLICY is v builtaround Party membership The trained member is one on whom Full Gas Tax Check Planned Will Go Over All Back Files DES MOINES direc tor of the Iowagas tax division said Tuesday he will make a record by record check of back tax files to uncover of poor collection policies George Marchi wasordered las week by State Treasurer M L Abrahamson to investigate the collection practices in the depart ment before Marchi took over last year Marchi was to give a weekly progress report onhis investi gation to Abrahamson Gov Her schel C Loveless and the spe cial legislative investigation com mittee HE SAID he would either add additional help or use some of his present investigators to do the checking of back files I dont know just how Ill do it or how long it will take after all this is the first time this sort of a check has been made Marchi said The department was rocked re cently by disclosures that the state hadnt alwaysreceived all the gasoline tax that was due it in the past Marchis tax collec the i Party depends to es pionage derail a and organize organizations others as Party officials They of feflsive shock troops confident ly expecting that the precise mo ment will arrive when conditions will make feasible the revolution ary overthrow of our government If the Party desires to under take a certain task Party mem bers seen or unseen will be the leaders Suppose that a commu nist front is to be started that is an organization which is to be maneuvered by the Party A communist sympathizer may be named president but a Party member will probably be execu imers others are new recruits All of them igrew up in capitalist society Many still show theef ectsof their ng especially the younger ones Thatis why they slacken once in a while They think for them selves theyput selfbefore Party THESE INSTINCTS must be pounded out and communist thoughts instilled Communists are not born they are made For example A Party leader in the Deep South was angry He was talking to a member who had slipped a little This individual was not giving his best effort to the Party although he Jiad been iri the Party for 12 years and had fought in Spainwith the Abraham Lincoln Brigade Work harder for the Party was the leaders theme Youve got more time to giant rally for peace is to be held The plat form will glitter with noncom munists But a communist mem b e r on hand will control the agenda The strength of this inner circle the realbackbone of communist striking power lies not in num bers but in organized deception Following Lenins teachings the Party is a compact and highly mobile group that can strike quickly with great fury often achieving objectives unwar ranted by its numbers Todays membership is hard well trained and disciplined The weak fainthearted and skeptica have beenpurged Those who re main faithful to the Party are dedicated to the communist rev olution They are willing to sac rifice everything for it Here is an actual case A PARTY MEMBER was given a special assignment The firs step was to drop everything anc go into hiding That was all h was told He obeyed He took an other name moved away Tinr passed The children began t ask Whereis Daddy Th mothers answer He is dead You dont have a daddy This is the fanaticism of th trained member To be obedient however is no enough This select group o Party members must be mad superobedient meaning subserv ent beyond the hope of return They must be constantly whippe into a state of frenzied enthus asm and neverbe allowed to re lax Let your wife work retorted he official Thatll hold you for a while or borrow money if need C SHE CANT make nough Besides she
