GOV. E. L. PHILIPP S own story of his boyhood days on a Sauk county farm where he was born will be published in The Wisconsin State Journal in two installments, the first
appearing on Sunday and the second on Monday.
Gov. Philipp's story was written by the executive himself for publication in the Wisconsin
Conservationist, issued monthly by the state conservation commission. The State Journal pub�
lishes the autobiography through the courtesy of the commission.
Fishing and hunting, the old swimming hole and other interesting incidents in the early
life of the executive are told.
