Chosen to serve on the resolutions committee for next years convention. Mrs. Annette Mcconnell was elected Secretary treasurer for the state ladies auxiliary. The state reimburses municipalities one per cent of taxable Gross receipts and for the past several years the Village s share has increased by More than $ 15,000 each year. This year s budget shows an increase of $19,000 to $85,000, but actual figures for an 11 month period show receipts at $89,051.98, according to clerk treasurer Agustin Archuleta. Resources in the budget totalling $404,386, include $237,131 in the general fund $10,200. Fire Protection $15,858, recreation $16,235, debt services and $124,962, water and sewer. The total also includes a $90,213 Cash balance. Expenditures include $33,534 for administrative and general salaries. The addition of an assistant clerk treasurer is planned july i. The total reflects salaries and benefits for office clerks and attorneys fees. The Village proposes to add one patrolman to the police Force. Total expenditure for police Protection is budgeted at $57,000.Bookmobile schedule schedule for the Northwestern regional Bookmobile has been announced by James c. Johnstone librarian. Next tuesday stops will be made at the Peralta Post office from 10 30-12 Isleta Pueblo Plaza 12 30-2 Isleta Pueblo school 2 15-3 Bosque farms 7-11 store 3 15-4 30. Total salaries and benefits for the Street department Are proposed at $12,990 and for the sanitation department $5,505. Salaries and benefits for the Utility department total $20,430. The department includes a water sewer superintendent sewer Plant operator and Plant worker consulting engineers fees and extra help. Capital outlay proposed in the budget includes $8,500 for two police units $70,000 for new water and sewer lines $10,000 for improvements to Daniel Fernandez Park and $49,962 from Revenue sharing for an addition to Village Hall. Village Matching funds of $25,000 for Park improvement come from Parks and recreation in the general fund and from the recreation fund. Resources in the general fund in addition to the sales tax receipts include $24,000 from gasoline tax up $6,000 $5,900, franchise tax $10,000, cigarette tax $3,000 occupational licenses $1,002, liquor licenses $3,500, Auto licenses $2,000 police fines and fees $1,240 from county and state contributions to the Library and $700 from paving dance june 29 a Benefit dance will be sponsored by the Valencia i Cerro fire dept.
