We have a Confirmation from Peterfburg, that fome of -the Ruffian Gallies having attempted to land Troops in the Ifland of Aland, were obliged to retire with Lofs. Letters from Rimini fay, that the Auftrian Artillery has paffed the Panaro, and afTure us, that Count Traun is to Tend fome Troops into Tufcany, whither General Pallavi-cini is already gone. ^ From Bologna they tell us, that the Duke of Modena has precife Orders from the Court of Spain to penetrate into Tufcany, and take Poft between Graffignana and the Territory of Mafia. And Francis Francis, charged on the Oaths of Richard Loyd, and Wattir Beedall, with having in his Cuftody a Bucket that had Marks on it of his Majefty's warlike Stores. Yeflerday in the Afternoon, one Mrs. Polfort in Ty-Jbam Road being in Company with a Man of her Acquaintance, a Difpute arofe between them, and fhe fuddenly catch'd up a Knife, and ftabb'd him in the Body, of which Wound he died in a fhort time ; fhe was immediately taken up, and being carried before a Juftice, was committed to Newgate. f�*. 1-743.
