Letters from Genoa adwfe, that feveral Projects are under Consideration, for reducing the Corficans, either by fair Means or by Force ; and that as foon as any one of thofe Projects is approved by the Senate, M. Giuftiniani, the new Commiflary General for Corfica, will fet out for Baftia ia order to lay the Republick's Propofals before the Male-contents. In die mean time the Corficans keep quiet enough, and wait impatiently for the Arrival of M. Giuiii-niani, that they may know what they have to trail to. They write from Florence, that Baron NeubefF, who lately departed from thence, upon his being informed that fome Genoefe Emiflaries were lying in wait for him there, and that the Regency could not take upon them to protect him againft the Republick of Genoa, is now at Cigoli, near San-Miniato, and lodges in the Parifh Prieft's Houie, from whence he has wrote to divers Courts of Europe, and only waits for their Anfwers, in order to take a final Refo-lation, whether to go on with or lay the Affair of Corfica entirely.
