The Salisbury, Adams, from New-England, ls-arriyed, in 30 Days, off Dover. . , ^ The William, Hogan, from Lifoon bff13bver. Thelndofiry, MlUerfon, from Lancaller, at Barba-does. The littlejohn, Daxon j and Unity, Thompfon, from Barbadoes; and Expedition, Roth, from Lifbon, at Cork. The Mary, Fifh, from Jamaica, at Lancalier. The Tiidaltry, Collinibn, from Lancafier, at Barbadoes. -The Lynn, Woodward, from St. Kites, a* Liverpool. LONDON. Yefterday arrived the Mail from Holland. They write from Leghorn of the 5th of July, N.S. that a few Days "before an Engl i& Ship arrived off that Harbour, the Captain of which earneftly begged to be admitted to perform Quarantain, giving to nnderftand, that he had on board theBritifh Coofol and fome Merchants of the fame Nation at Meffina, with a few of the Nobility of that City ; and that tho* it did not appear that any of his Pa/Ten-gers or Crew were inflicted with the Plague, yet they would freely confent to remain (hot up in the Lazaret as long as the Government pleafed : But the Magistrates fent Word to the Captain to depart immediately, and gave him a Supply of Provifions for Fear he fhbold not have enough^ for a long Paflage. ! We hear from Genoa, that Admiral Matthews has ordered all the Captains in his Fleet to conform to the Laws-eftablifhed about Quarantains, and to abftain from vifiting fuch Ships as are bound from Sicily and the. Levant. According to Advices from Ratifbon, the Siege of Strao-bingen will not be taken in Hand fo foon as was imagined, the heavy Cannon and the Pioneers from the Upper Palatinate not being yet come dp. Pritf ceXharles ofLprrain; has detached three Regiments from his Army to reinforce' the Troops that block up this Place. In the mean time,; the Garrifon play very brifJcly with their Artillery upon the Auftriarts, and feem refolved to defend themfelves to the' laft Extremity.
