' Since the Beginning of the Troubles in Bohemia, a great many Families, chiefly Lutherans, have from Time 'to Time left that Kingdom, and fought for more peacea-4 ble Dwellings under the King's Protection ; they met ' with a kind Reception in this Electorate, in Confequence of his Majefty's Orders to the Bailiff, of the feveral Pro-' vinces: But the Tranquility of Bohemia being at la ft re * ftored, two Deputies from the Regency of Prague, lately ' arrived here to demand thofe Families in the Name of the ' Queen of Hungary. Count Efterhazi, Envoy Extraor- * dinary from the Court of Vienna, having prefenied the * Deputies to the King, they delivered a Letter to his Ma-Vjefty from that Princefs, requeuing that he would iffue ' Orders for fending Home her Subjects; at the fame Time ' they affured his Majefty that thofe Families fhould not be ' molefted in any Shape ; but that they might return to ' their old Habitations and live theie in ail Freedom.
