By Mitchell Kirk staff reporter Joseph Fettingis knew he wanted to be a Painter when he was 9 years old. Over the next 60 years he would go on to Excel in the Art form through a life that would take him from the Jungles of South America to Chicago a South Side and prestigious Art schools. Today he stands his easel in Logansport where he continues to be inspired by the regions festivals and nature. Fettingis was born in Germany in 1946.
