Lethbridge Herald, The (Newspaper) - September 27, 1974, Lethbridge, Alberta 16 THE LETHBRIDGE HERALD Friday, September 27, 1974 Next Team Canada to include NHL, WHA HELSINKI (CP) Team Canada chairman Douglas Fisher said Thursday night that the next Canadian hockey team to meet the Soviet Union in an international series will include players from both the National Hockey League and the World Hockey Association. He said fans and officials of both countries would welcome a series between the best of Canada and the best of the Soviet Union. Two years ago, Team Can- ada, comprised of NHL players, defeated the Soviets 4-3 in games with one tie.
