September 23. 1974 at the age of 71 years. Mr Harvey was born m Stirling on May 1st, 1903 He married Ruth Wilcox in 1921 at Lethbridge. Following his marriage he filled a mission for the L.D.S. Church at Minneapolis. In 1936 he moved to Wilson Siding and later moved to Lethbndge He was a salesman for General Farm Supplies for many years Besides his loving wife Ruth he is survived by three sons, David of Lethbridge, Ronald of Edmonton and Richard of Calgary: three daughters, Mrs Wm. (Virginia) Swan of Garden Grove, Calif, Mrs. Geo (Barbara) Wilmot of Broxburn and Mrs Zan Welch of Fallbrook. Calif 29 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, also three sisters. Mrs. Geo. (Ehna) Romenl of Magrath, Mrs Morgan (Mildred) Davis of Salt Lake City and Mrs Chas. (Lucille) Ursenbach of Calgary: two brothers. Foster of Kelowna and Ralph of Vancouver He was predeceased by one son Robert in 1972 and by a brother John. Funeral services will be held in The 10th Ave L D.S. Chapel on Thursday. September 26th at 2-00 p m Bishop Ruedon Selk officiating. C2179 MERTZ William John, beloved husband of Mrs Rosina Mertz of Stirling passed away in The Raymond Hospital on Tuesday. September 24th. 1974 at the age of 73 years. Mr Mertz was born in Stirling on September 1901 and received his education there. He was married to Rosina Nelson at Cardston in 1927 and lived at Mountain View for two years before moving back to Stirling where he fanned and lived until the time of his passing. He was a member of the L.D.S Church, the Lions Club and had been on the Stirling council for many years. He loved farming and made it his life's work.
