Asijnlth Lindsey'a office. .Majot Stewart reported that he was prepar- ed to take command of the Veterans on October 9 at the evening parade, when the Duke of Conuaught arrives, but that on the following morning at the inspection he would not be able to take pare with the Veterans, owing to the fact that he would have charge, of the Battery. The details of both parades were gone into, and it was decided to meet at least one hour earlier on the evening of October 9, so that a little drill could be gone through, prior to actual parade.
