The industrial index fell 3.12 to 159.13, base metals .07 to 66.62 and western oils 1.72 to 140.20. Golds rose .63 to 333.70. Interprovincial Pipeline lost IVs to Southam A 1 to Royal Bank 1V4 to Weston to and Tex- asgulf to Sherrit was down lk to Coniagas nine cents to and Mindamar three cents to 40 cents. United Canso fell to Pan Ocean to and Can- ada Southern Pete 20 cents to Alpa Industries gained to Quebec Sturgeon five cents to Nudulama four cents to 79 cents and Pennant- Puma Oils 15 cents to Market trends MONTREAL (CP) Prices were lower in light trading on the Montreal Slock Exchange today. The limit gains in futures were listed in soybeans at 20 cents, com 10 cents, oats 6 cents, soybean oil 100 points and soybean meal a ton All these futures posted limit gams within minutes after the opening but soybean oil and soybean prices remained lock- ed with no trade for the remainder of the session.
