New Zealand and Japan. today's FUNNY 7hon. in Ltnoio Anllt H.Y. i babyScott re-invents the diaper Read these eight reasons why it had to be done: IThe two-part system eliminates fastening devices. Our system makes more sense than diapers ever did. There are two parts. The panty and 1he diaper. The panty has a front "T" tab to hold the diaper. No pins. No tapes No fastenings. When the diaper is in pan- ty snaps snugly on the baby. 2 This pinless diaper is softer. With the panty doing the fastening, we can make babyScott as soft as a diaper really should be. Mosl diapers can't be all that soft because they have to hold pins. And anything tough enough to pin is tough enough to chafe. babyScott's too soft to pin, and that's the way we want it. 3 Our exclusive fluffy filler is more absorbent. We said our pinless diaper has been made softer. That's because it has many layers of fluffy .filler material that is super absorbent. So much so, in fact, that the moisture is drawn down into the fluffiness and away from your baby's tender skin. This helps prevent diaper rash. The filler is held in a strong yet gentle cover which stays far drier than other diapers. 4 It's safer and gives you complete peace of mind. You may not consider pins dangerous. After all, mothers have been sticking thumbs (and occasionally babies) for centuries. That's painful but not exactly deadly. We worry more about pins that get swallowed. Eventually every baby figures out how a safety pin works. And that is frightening. One thing for sure. The safest pin of all is no pin at all. color porlioii Ill Ihe tame baby laic 5 Life is a little easier for you. For several reasons. First of all, babyScott is completely disposable (even flushable when There's no struggling with the baby. You can have the diaper in place, in the panty before you begin the diaper change. And there are times when that's a blessing. Like when Dad's doing the changing. Ai ihiee in Ihe morning. Double-diapering's a cinch. And then there's Ihe snap-on fastening. After all, a snap has proven itself on all Ihe baby's other clothes, why not on diapers too'-' Snap off. Snap on. It couldn't be simpler. You could actually change baby without putting on the lights. Some nights that'll seem importanl. 6 You know it's hyglenically clean. With a disposable, you know that each diaper is being used for the first and only time. It's purer than cloth could possibly be. There's no soap residue. No question of how completely it was washed. Small point, maybe, but an infant's sensiiive skin irritates easily. Why take a chance? 7 The panties wear better and last longer. _ The babyScott panty outperforms the tra- ditional plastic one. ll's made of vinyl. It washes easily Odors and stains are easier lo remove. Less sticking and cracking. And with our syslem, they're the only punlies you need. babyScott 8 Your baby will look better. The snap-on bikini ends diaper droop. The diaper is completely functional and you don'i have all thai extra clolli hanging down Ihe legs and bunching al Ihe sides. It fits snugly under the baby's tummy and around the hips. The more active your baby gets, the more sense this snug little panty makes. And anyhow, there's something about a neat, clean-looking baby that keeps you feeling better, loo. All in all, everything is improved with babyScott. Odd that no one thought of it before. babyScott comes in a range of sizes to fit all babies. Baby weight Panty size Diaper size 5-121bs. Size A Newborn 13-17 Ibs. Sue B j L'lher Regular 18-25 Ibs.
