(AP) The Anaconda Co and its sub- sidiary, Anaconda Aluminum Co., have withdrawn as plain- tiffs from a law suit filed last year in an attempt to nullify rate increases granted to the Montana Power Co. The suit, which claims that rate increases granted by the public service commission are unjust and unreasonable, is scheduled to be tried Oct. 12 in district court in Helena.
