Father Marien officiated at double ring vows for Miss Sheeran Burris, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Burris of Loth- bridge and Mr. George James Fox, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. J. Fox of Montreal. The ceremony took place in St. Basil's Roman Catholic Church with Mrs. J. W. McCallum as organist. Mr. S. W. Sawicki gave the reading "Marriage" Irom "The Pro- phet." Matron of honor Mrs. A. Potvin of Lsthbridge. Best man was Mr. Terence Kitchener also of Lethbridge. Hingbeare was Master Terence Kitchener nephew of the bride. Ushering the guests were tlie Messrs, f, Potvin of Lethbridge and R Fournel of Calgary. Mr. Dean Taylor of Noble- ford gave the toast to the bride at a reception held in the Scar let Room of Ericksen's Family Restaurant. After a honeymoon at Lake Louise ths couple plan to reside in Montreal. TO BE WED Mr. Fred Mensch and Miss Barbara Ann Nixon Announced their engagement recently. Fred I ithe son of Mrs. Agnes Mensch of Coaldale, and Bar- bara is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Nixon of Lethbridge. They both received degrees at the University of Lethbridge and are graduate students at Simon Fraser University. An early January wedding is planned. MR. AND MRS. She carried a bou guct of large pink roses, white miniature carnations, stephano- is and babies breath. Maid of honor was Miss Mar garet Welsh. Flower girl was Miss Kristy Gamble f Calgary, cousin of the bride .11 wore floor length gowns o. vhite dotted Swiss over either mauve or pink, complementer y white mohair hats with rib- ions of mauve and pink to match their gowns.
