Tandy Kolb offered parents of the pre-school boys and girls hi lus Reno Inn after two churches aiid a school in the mill town of Boiiner declined to house the classes. Kolb, who has a youngster starting head start schooling this fall, not only offered the back room of his bar, but aslo offered to install a bathroom, partitions and lighting at an estimated cost of Par- ents said he assured them he would not open the bar until the morning classes were over. About 12 parents met last week and decided to accept the barman's offer. Now, the ques- tion of whether the chillren from East ilissoula, Bonner and Clinton will be able to at- tend classes in (he bar is up to the Montana Liquor Cont r o Board. The board meets Sept. 20 In Billings to interpret a state law prohibiting the establish- ment of a bar within 600 feet of a school.
