Wednesday, September 16, 1970 THE LETHBRIDGE HERALD f Study On Young People Released OTTAWA (CP) Young peo- ple who have had trouble with the law or difficulty making grades at school appear to be more accident-prone driving a car a study at Queen's Univer- sity in Kingston, Ont, shows. The study compared the fam- ily, employment and criminal backgrounds of 205 under-21s who had been in- volved in accidents with a matching group of young, no-ac- cident drivers. It showed no significant dif- ference between the accident and no-accident groups in such factors as marital status of par- ents, use of drugs or alcohol, health or whether the subject attended a driving school or took a driver-education course.
