A spokesman nt a South La- guna Beach, hospital said Doyd died Tuesday night from complications o[ Park- inson's disease and congestive heart failure. Boy'd portrayal of Hopalong, a "good guy" who wore a black hat but was a paragon of vir- tue, was the longest-running characterization in Hollywood history.
