Remarkable Record at Leth- bridge to Increase Attendance at the Lethbriclge Puhllc schools for the beginning ot the new term Is the highest initial attendance in the history of tho city. This fact was at the school, board meet- og last night when Secretary Fleet- wood submitted the figures. Mr. Fleet- wood said indications worn that i side a aionth there would be an in- crease of about 75 more owing to the fact that many pupils are com ing- in from the farms after the har vest operations are concluded. Already there arc 18 pupils in the; High schoo' who come from outside points. The average class -throughout the schools is 40. One room had. to he opened.in the old High school -build- ing. There are still two rooms vacant in Fleetwood and, four in Galbraith.
