Paul Descha-nel, president of the chamber, addressed in its behalf an eloquent message ot gratitude to the victorious armies ot the allies. Hilts, Justices of the peace at Acme, Alta., handed out a pretty stiff sentence last week to a German, named Karl Fischer, a farmer near that'place.
