Lethbridge Herald, The (Newspaper) - October 30, 1971, Lethbridge, Alberta SB MALE HELP EDUCATIONAL BUSINESS CURRIE David F., aged 72 years, of 1340 Larch St., Everett, Wash., died hi hospital on Monday, October 18, 1971. He was born in North-wood, N.D., August 22, 18S8 and had been a resident of Everett for the past two years, having lived most of his life in southern Alberta. He also lived several years at Hope, Idaliu prior to moving to Everett. Mr. Currie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. He leaves one sister, Mrs. Isla Quam of 1340 Larch St., Everett, Wash.; two brothers, Neil Currie of Lethbridge, Peter E. Currie of Everett and several nieces and nephews. Services were held Saturday, October 23 at p.m. in the Chapel of Challa-combe Fiekel and Precht, Elder David Oiler of the L.D.S. Church officiated. Burial was in Cypress Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers were J. Quam, B. Quam, D. Quam, K. Quam, L. Orcutt and W. D. Currie. 3u DEATH LOWEN Passed away at Tater on Friday, October 29, 1971, Abraham, of Vauxhall, at tlie age of 79 years. Funeral services will be conducted from the Mennonite Conference Church, Vauxhall on Tuesday, November 2 at p.m., with Rev. Menno Bergen officiating. Interment will follow in the Vauxhall Cemetery. Frank Duff Moores, 38-year-old Progressive Conservative leader whose party won half the 42 legislature seals, said he expected to be asked within two weeks by the lieutenant-governor to form a new government.
