J. Brandrith, exhibition commissioner of the British Columbia government, their appreciation of the courtesies extended them by him while engaged in showing the re- sources coast province through their exhibit at the Dry-Farming Con- gress. He was presented with a fine piece of silver, accompanied by an ap- preciative address. Mr. Brandritb, in reply, expressed the very great pleasure it gave him to! accept a sift which -was significant of the kindly relations existing among them while engaged on a great work for ther province, and outlined in a concise manner his connection with the exposition department of the gov ernnrsnt.
