A Stray Grouse An imusual visitor to Lethbridg' yesterday afternoon was a large ruf :ied grouse, which occupied the side walk at the corner of Fifth avenue and Fourth street South for a few minutes. Take the Red Car For the information of strangers in the city, the street railway depart- ment announces that all red line cars run to the fair grounds. These will he specially marked during Dry-Farm- ing Congress week. Ten cars will be in operation on the system during the whole week. Generator Nearly Ready The big motor generator sot for the street railway system Is in place, and the wheels will 'be turned over for the first time tomorrow. The whole plant will ready for use for next week. All the machinery for the power station has arrived, and will be set up in the power house without delay, giving the city 3000 -horse-now er on which to draw. Poultry Association A meeting of the Lethhridgc Poul- try and Pet Stork association, was held last night at the Board of Trade Building. The show dates were al- tered from December 3, and 5, to January 8, and 10.
