(CP) A rare peregrine falcon was found here by a group of public school students wlio were walking in the bush near Rare bird round by group of students this community about 35 miles east of Belleville. The young male, which had a wing out of joint and could not fly, was identified by Chief Ranger E. There are three varieties o the Tundra Peregrin which inhabits the Arctic, th Peate's falcon, native to th Queen Charlotte Islands, an another that was found south o the tree line from Alberla Newfoundland. There have been few sigh ings of the third variety sine the 1950s. Mr. Ferguson said If the wing mends satisfactorily, the bird will be released to the wild.
