Wayne County Judge Charles Kaufman signed an order de- claring all Michigan abortion laws unconstitutional, saying that in his opinion they violate ihe rights of privacy of the mother. In effect, Kaufman rukd that Ihe mother has the right to de- cide whether her unborn child will live. Kaufman had ruled the abor- tion laws unconstitutional last week, and today he officially signed the order despite a re- quest from Hheo Marchand, Wayne County assistant prose- cutor, for a stay in order to al low time for an appeal.
